createaplatewithdina I tried the VIRAL TORTILLA BEEF KEBABS…these were so yummy!! Perfect for grilling season, easy dinners, and something fun to switch up your usual weeknight meals. Give these a try and let me know what you think!

Ingredients:

For the Beef Filling:
• 2 lbs ground beef
• 1 medium bell pepper, finely diced
• ½ medium red onion, finely diced
• ½ bunch parsley, finely chopped
• 3 garlic cloves, grated
• 1½ tbsp tomato paste
• 1½ tbsp honey
• 2½ tsp garlic powder
• 2 tsp paprika
• 2 tsp cumin
• 2 tsp sumac
• ½ tsp coriander
• 2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp black pepper

For the Garlic Butter:
• 5 tbsp butter, melted
• 3 garlic cloves, grated
• 1 tsp garlic salt

Additional:
• 6 large burrito-size flour tortillas
• 5–6 wooden skewers, soaked in water

Directions:

1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bell pepper, red onion, parsley, grated garlic, tomato paste, honey, garlic powder, paprika, cumin, sumac, coriander, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything together really well using your hands.
2. Stack the tortillas and trim the edges to create a large square shape.
3. Place one tortilla down and spread an even layer of the beef mixture all the way to the edges. Repeat the layers until you have 5 layers of beef total, finishing with a tortilla on top.
4. Cut into 4 even strips. Turn each strip onto its side, press it together tightly, and carefully push a soaked skewer through each one.
5. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, grated garlic, and garlic salt. Reserve a few tablespoons on the side for brushing at the end.
6. Grill over medium-low heat for about 20–30 minutes total, turning every 3–4 minutes so they cook evenly. The internal temperature should reach 160°F.
7. While grilling, brush the kebabs with the garlic butter. Finish with the reserved garlic butter right before serving.

Serve with your favorite sauce like garlic sauce, tzatziki, spicy mayo, or even ketchup. My kids loved them with ketchup.
