I’ve been spending time researching the Jewish Foods of Morocco.  Did you know that Fish Ball Tagines are an important part of Moroccan Jewish cuisine, particularly for Shabbat?⁣

Fish meatballs are popular across North Africa, each country with their own version.  You’ll see this tagine in Morocco today made with sardines, whiting or even a mix of both simmered in savory tomato sauce.  I made a relatively classic version and it turned out to be one of my favorite things I’ve made recently.⁣

If you haven’t already - check out the video I shared last weekend and give the recipe a try if you like fish!  It’s not the prettiest dish, but it is delicious.
