At first glance, this might look like a cute young love story… i can guarantee you, is NOT 🥲

This series is intense, heartbreaking, nostalgic, messy, comforting, and painfully read all at once. First of all, is set in 2005, it has that unforgettable early-2000s feeling that makes everything hit even harder, with a lot of throwback music. 

Second, this is like getting into a rollercoaster, one moment you’re laughing, the next your heart is completely shattered. 

You become deeply attached to every character because they feel so human, layered, complex, emotional. The friendships, the love, the mistakes, the struggles they have to deal with… it all feels incredibly real and relatable. 

The entire series is addictive. Period 🤣

This is labeled as YA, but this has nothing to young adult, I’d suggest check your trigger warnings. Yeah is true there’s no spice (first book) but everything displayed in this story has nothing of innocent. Not certainly the way on how obsessive and protective Johnny is towards Shannon. 

If you haven’t read this yet, you’re genuinely missing something special 🩷
