#TSRPolitics: Roomies, Tom Steyer is running for Governor of California and is sounding the alarm on the Paramount x Warner Bros. merger. In case you didn't know, a Trump ally named David Ellison purchased Paramount (the company that owns BET, CBS, MTV, and more) last year, firing Stephen Colbert and shutting down BET+. Now he wants to own Warner Bros. too—the company that owns CNN and HBO. Tom is the only candidate in the race taking a stance against the merger. 

According to #TomSteyer, this would be a right-wing takeover of media, and he is promising to challenge the merger as Governor. "When you're trying to have a coup, the two things you control are the army and the TV stations," he said.

In recent polling released by Emerson College polling “Undecided voters were asked whom they would support if the election were held today and they had to decide right now. When including which candidate undecided voters lean toward, support for Steyer increased by two points to 19%, Hilton by one point to 18% and for Becerra by one point to 20%.
