#TSRUpdatez: On Monday, #ColeAllen, the suspect accused of storming into this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner fully armed, pled not guilty in court.

As previously reported, Cole is facing charges accusing him of attempting to kill President #DonaldTrump, and that he also fired a gun at a Secret Service officer responding to the attack. According to apnews, Cole appeared in court for his arraignment, and his attorneys entered the plea on his behalf.

Allen’s legal team is asking U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden to disqualify Justice Department officials from direct involvement in prosecuting him. It was shared that they could be considered victims or witnesses in the case. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro were present at the dinner, which could create a potiential conflict.
