Sting's son Garrett Borden will make his pro wrestling debut this Sunday at RWA Final Reckoning. Rhodes Wrestling Association announced that Borden, the eldest son of Steve "Sting" Borden, will face Brandon Barretta on May 17 in Leander, Texas.

Per the promotion: "The son of the legendary Stinger makes his in-ring debut at Final Reckoning. Standing in his way is up and coming midwest native Brandon Barretta. Brandon is looking to rain on the parade of Garrett Borden and make his mark in RWA."

Rhodes Wrestling Association and the Rhodes Wrestling Academy are both operated by AEW wrestler and coach Dustin Rhodes.

Garrett did not initially have any interest in becoming a professional wrestler before catching the bug during Sting's retirement tour in AEW. 

His younger brother Steven Borden is already competing on the independent circuit and has wrestled in AEW dark matches. Both brothers are in their 30s.
Garrett's wife Katelyn Borden works in AEW community outreach and is also pursuing her own in-ring career, having trained at the Rhodes Wrestling Academy under the ring name Jael. She has been on hiatus since 2025 following the birth of their son Bronson.

RWA Final Reckoning is Sunday, May 17 at the RWA Bullpen in Leander, Texas. Tickets via Eventbrite.
