Brock Rechsteiner, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner, has signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent. The team announced the move on May 12 after Rechsteiner participated in their rookie minicamp on a tryout basis.

The 6'2", 225-pound Jacksonville State WR had attended the Tennessee Titans' rookie minicamp earlier this spring but was not signed there. He reportedly ran a 4.48-second 40-yard dash during the pre-draft process and finished his Jacksonville State career with 53 catches for 629 yards and seven touchdowns across 40 games.

On what he wanted to prove at Saints rookie camp: "Just that I belong here. I believe I can play at this level. I think I proved today that I can hang with these guys."

Rechsteiner signed an NIL deal with WWE through the Next In Line program in 2025 and plans to pursue wrestling once his football career ends: "I want to pursue football as long as I can, play as long as I can. But once I'm done, I'll get into wrestling too."
Asked about a future ring name: "Hopefully I'll just be Brock Steiner. We'll see."

On the Steiner family work ethic: "My dad is a very hard worker, my uncle is a hard worker, my cousin Bron Breakker is a very hard worker, so it kind of just showed us how hard we need to work to be great at what we want to do."

His cousin Bronson Rechsteiner currently wrestles in WWE as Bron Breakker. Scott Steiner and his brother Rick Steiner were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as The Steiner Brothers in 2022.
