In honor of #mothersday2026, 

Many mothers live in Section 8 housing--those that have kids who call, text, visit, let alone subsidize necessary purchases when needed are in the minority. 

37% of elderly poverty consists of widowed women. 

Having kids or getting married is NOT a guarantee of care or financial security in old age. We need strong social safety nets!
