Us #singleover30 women are bombarded with #eggfreezing ads. But they offer overly-hopeful promises for preserving our fertility:

-In the US, there is minimal oversite of egg storage and preservation 
-There are many failure points in the process from egg retrieval to live birth
-The cost and fees for egg freezing is prohibitive, disadvantaging women of lower socioeconomic statuses
-Childcare is expensive and unaffordable for many mothers in the US
