For the past 11 months, I have been intensely sad, mentally ill, and struggling to feel hope in my future and happiness in the present. I made a hard choice at 19/20 to major in #stem v English lit and have grown to bitterly regret such a choice. I developed severe #OCD that I can barely function in the ‘real world’.

I’m trying to launch a writing career now after 5 years of writing & rejection and 10 years before that of barely writing. On top of that, I’m failing in my #stem career path and am virtually friendless and navigating adult live alone. I feel like I’m in a room with every door and window closing and locking. 

I don’t know what the second half of my 30s will bring & I’m scared every moment I wake up and have terrible nightmares every night.

LEFT RED DRESS: When I was in 2nd grade saw a dress like this in a department store and knew this would be prom dress one day. Of course I was never asked for prom, never got this dress, but I dreamt so intently of wearing this dress the other night maybe it’s a sign?
