This is the part of the story I wasn’t sure I could share.

The tears.
The fear.
The feeling of being completely alone in a moment that changes everything.

My water broke in Arizona at 27 weeks and 5 days…
and just like that, nothing about this journey looked the way I imagined.

At 29 weeks, we welcomed our premature baby girl into the world —
stronger than I ever knew a human could be.

This episode is vulnerable.
It’s real.
And it’s a piece of my heart.
