The part people call luck is usually just the part they didn’t see.

The reps.
The setbacks.
The years spent improving when nobody was watching.

Most breakthroughs look sudden from the outside.
They rarely are.

I used to spend hours cold-calling and cold-emailing schools to ask if I could present for their students and staff. 

Often I would offer to do it for free, and they would STILL say no! 

But I kept knocking on doors, knowing I had an impact I wanted to make. 

I knew when I was given the opportunity, all of this work would be worth it. 

Eventually people started saying yes, then people started to refer me, then people started asking for me, and then year over year, I kept working on the craft, I kept refining the story to be even more impactful. 

And today, I am in a place I didn't even realize was possible. And the best part is, this ISN'T the ceiling! 

I plan to keep working. I plan to keep doing the reps. I plan to keep getting better. 

Whatever your goal is, keep working. Keep showing up. One day, the work catches up to the vision.
