The search is on for a driver following a deadly hit and run on Chicago's southwest side.

It happened near 68th and pulaski in the west lawn neighborhood. Police say a man was on the street near the sidewalk when he was hit by an orange honda. The driver then took off from scene.

The man is identified as 53-year-old Enrique Nieto who was taken to a hospital where he later died.
