John Chayka, Mats Sundin, & Keith Pelley at their press conference earlier today about their new leadership.

• Kelley thanked Sundin and his family for moving to Toronto for this opportunity, and Neil Glasburg in the search process. The Leafs spoke to 27 people.
• Chayka will talk to Auston Matthews in the near future, but did talk to his agent, Judd Moldaver.
• Chaya did talk to Berube and will evaluate with Sundin, so Berube’s future is still unclear.
• Sundin and Chayka met in 2012 and have kept in touch since.
• Chayka says it’s now up to him to make moves over the offseason to get this team back on track. Reemphasized the current core base being a strong one to add to.
