This strawberry basil spritz & tomato burrata salad = summer pairing perfection 🍅🍓

Strawberry Basil Spritz:
-4 strawberries, diced
-4 basil leaves
-1 oz. gin
-1/2 oz. simple syrup
-3-4 oz. prosecco
-club soda, for topping off
-strawberry & basil for garnish

1. Muddle strawberries and basil in a spritz glass. Add gin and simple syrup.
2. Fill glass with ice, then top with prosecco and club soda. Stir well.
3. Garnish with a strawberry and fresh basil, then serve.

Tomato Burrata Salad:
-1/2 lb. cherry tomatoes, sliced in half
-2 tbsp. olive oil
-1 tbsp. red wine vinegar
-1/4 cup finely diced red onion
-1 tbsp. chopped basil
-salt & pepper to taste
-1 ball burrata cheese

1. In a bowl, mix together olive oil, vinegar, red onion, basil, salt and pepper. Add cherry tomatoes, toss to coat, then allow to marinate at room temperature for 30-40 minutes.
2. To serve, place burrata in the center of a dish and surround with cherry tomatoes + marinade.
3. Garnish with fresh basil and a sprinkle of flakey salt.
