Opening Night in Hamilton. ⚾️🔥

The Hamilton Cardinals officially opened the 2026 home schedule at Bernie Arbour Memorial Stadium in front of an electric crowd against the Kitchener Panthers.

Before first pitch, Owen Boon was presented with the 2025 IBL MVP Award, while Tyler Duncan was honoured with The Larry Wood Legacy Award in a special pre-game ceremony.

The Cardinals came out flying early and battled hard all night in front of an incredible Hamilton crowd. While the result didn’t go our way, the energy, passion, and atmosphere showed exactly why baseball in Hamilton continues to grow.
