A massive fire tore through a Phoenix apartment complex Friday night near 25th Avenue and Glendale, leaving more than 20 people displaced after crews say the flames spread from a tree to a three-story building.

Fire officials say between 55 and 75 firefighters responded to battle the flames.

Around 25 residents were displaced and the Red Cross was called in to assist families affected by the fire. No official word yet on injuries, and the cause remains under investigation.
