🎥: nicktokog One person was hospitalized after a major early morning crash sent a garbage truck crashing through the backyard wall of a Surprise home Wednesday morning.
According to Surprise Police, the crash involving a garbage truck and a sedan happened near Reems and Waddell roads just before 6:30 AM.

Video from Arizona’s Family shows the garbage truck plowing through landscaping, destroying the backyard wall, and ending up fully inside the property just feet away from the house.

Police say the driver of the sedan was taken to the hospital, though their current condition has not been released. It’s still unclear whether the garbage truck driver was injured.

The crash shut down northbound lanes on Reems Road for several hours while investigators worked to determine what caused the collision.

Actually insane how close that truck came to hitting the house itself.
