Oxidized pastel balloons = beautiful!
Oxidized dark balloons = your ashy elbows that haven’t seen lotion in a week.

Bottom line: if you’re using dark balloons for an outdoor setup ANY time of year, you’re gonna want to spray them with HiShine if you don’t want your setup to look ugly.

I live in Arizona; arguably the hottest, driest state in the US. And this is something I do for every single outdoor setup, no matter what time of year. If it works here, it will work where ever you are too.

I don’t recommend using Hi Shine if your dark balloons are going to be in direct sunlight, but quite frankly if you’re putting dark colored balloons in direct sunlight in general you are asking for poppage, whether you use HiShine or not. So just don’t do it.
