Andrews was convicted of manslaughter last October in connection with the 2024 murder of a Jacksonville, Florida, rapper. She was due to be sentenced in January, but the hearing has been postponed as her attorneys seek a new trial. The defense alleges Judge Michelle Sisco made key rulings that affected the outcome, citing errors during pre-trial proceedings and jury instructions.

The Florida Supreme Court removed Judge Sisco from the case in January after Andrews’ legal team alleged prejudicial bias. According to court records, Andrews’ next court date is May 22.
