About Last Night…

When Preparation Meets Opportunity 🤞🏾🎤

Back in 2019 chocolatesundaes was the first place I ever did comedy at which is rare to begin with. My bro victorpopejr was on a 2 year wait list to perform on this legendary stage but by the time his slot came he had moved back to Texas and told me to take his place.  I killed that hoe😮‍💨🔥 but I never took comedy serious.

Fast forward to 2023 I made the decision to finally pursue a career in comedy and went back to chocolate Sundaes to ask to perform. I got put on the list for 2025😭 but I was determined to perform way sooner than that! I kept going weekly in hopes somebody wouldn’t show up for their spot, but of course they did , I went for a month straight still nada. 

The last 2 weeks I didn’t go, but last night I decided to go again without the intention of wanting to perform, I ain’t even wear my tracksuit 😭😂 I thought “Labor Day weekend, 3 sold out shows, ain’t no way I’m getting on that stage, imma just go enjoy the vibes” but 🗣️GOD …. I felt like I won the lottery when I was told “you’re going up tonight”

Moral of the story is patience,persistence, and preparation.
