Here’s how to tell the difference between good and bad senior pictures: pt. 2/3

✨Let’s talk about Editing✨

💔BAD EDITING
 
❌1. Over-Editing: Too much retouching can lead to unnatural skin tones, overly sharp features, or a loss of texture, making the photo look fake or cartoonish.

❌2. Inconsistent Lighting: Poor editing can result in unnatural shadows, uneven exposure, or unnatural color tones that make the image look disjointed.

❌Distracting Filters: Overly trendy filters or color grading can date the photo or detract from the subject’s natural look. Many people will over contrast their images or keep it very airy which is unfortunate because although they are trendy, they will last stand the test of time!

💖GOOD EDITING

💐Natural Retouching: Editing should enhance the photo without making it look overly processed. Skin should appear smooth, but not plastic. Colors should be vibrant but true to life.

💐Consistent Lighting: Good editing maintains consistent lighting across the subject, avoiding harsh shadows or blown-out highlights. The image should look well-balanced.

💐Clean Backgrounds: Distracting elements in the background should be minimized or removed, keeping the focus on the subject.
