The U.S. Senate has officially passed a 2026 resolution recognizing the importance of connecting kids and families with parks, public lands, and waters across the country.
For 16 years, Kids to Parks Day has inspired families nationwide to get outside, discover new places, and experience the benefits of outdoor play and exploration. Huge thanks to Senate champions RonWyden, SenCindyHydeSmith, SteveDaines, SenatorMartinHeinrich, SenCapito, SenatorChrisCoons, and SenJimJustice for helping amplify this important message and support access to the outdoors for all kids and families.
