I didn’t get Magna Cum Laude, I didn’t get Summa Cum Laude… I just got Thank You Lawd! 😂

To the Mississippi Valley State University community, I just want to say thank y’all for everything y’all did for me. Through my three years at the Valley, it’s been rough, but it’s also been great at the same time.

Valley showed me a lot about myself and a lot about other people. You don’t always have to have the best resources in the world to be successful. Being from the Valley means a lot because to be here, you have to have heart and resilience.

Hard work is what I learned from being at Valley—from playing football, being in the choir, to even running track. I enjoyed it all. It was a great experience, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Valley is such a family-oriented place. Although a lot of people groan and complain about it, we’ll always have a special place in our hearts for Valley.

To the Valley staff and everyone who worked on campus, I enjoyed seeing y’all every day, making y’all smile, and y’all doing the same for me. It really made my experience there even better.

To my classmates and teammates, I appreciate all the time we spent together grinding. Y’all are gonna go far. ❗️

Lastly, to my homeboys—you know who y’all are. The ones I was around every day from year one to now, I appreciate y’all the most. Y’all definitely helped me along the way and made Valley fun for me, even on the days I really didn’t wanna be there for real. Appreciate y’all, no lie. 🖤🤞🏾

There’s another accomplishment in the books, but this isn’t the last one. Can’t wait to see what God has in store for me next.

Thank you to everyone who loved me, supported me, and never doubted me. I express nothing but gratitude.
