I don’t even know what to say at this point… Watching people pretend my wall is theirs or claim they created the design/concept is honestly wild 🙄

If you’re not going to admit who inspired your exact copy of my Disco Wall, then just don’t say anything at all. But flat out lying and saying you designed it? That’s actually DIABOLICAL.

Let me tell you how this wall came to life —

When kellypatriceevents asked me to create a disco ball wall for natindia’s wedding, I was SO excited. We talked through some ideas, she suggested adding the foil tissue paper and sent over a few inspo photos. They were all basically the same thing: disco balls stacked on top of disco balls with no frame, no backing, no structure… just balls piled together.

I knew I could create something WAY better.

Using that inspiration, along with my experience designing backdrops and making the amazing thecreativeheartstudio mosaics, I developed something completely original. It wasn’t a copy-and-paste of someone else’s work. I spent so much time figuring out the structure, functionality, transportation, and overall design to make it what it is today. There was a ton of creativity, problem-solving, trial and error, and engineering that went into it behind the scenes.

So seeing people casually insinuate — or straight up lie — that they designed it themselves is beyond frustrating. It’s honestly absurd.

On the flip side, there have also been some truly amazing people who HAVE tagged me and given proper credit for the design, and I appreciate that more than you know 🫶🏻🩷

Anyway… I really needed to get that off my chest, so thanks for listening to my rant 😘
