❗️Porsche and Rimowa just teamed up on a super limited hand-carry case inspired by the original 1963 Porsche 911, and it’s basically automotive history turned into luxury luggage.

The case takes design cues directly from the first-gen 911, including Pepita houndstooth-style interior details inspired by the classic seats used in early 911s from the 1960s and 1970s.

It also features Porsche crests, aluminum construction similar to Rimowa’s iconic suitcases, and interior straps inspired by vintage Porsche seatbelts.

Only 911 units were made worldwide as a tribute to the 911 itself, making it more of a collector’s piece than just travel gear.

One of the coolest details is that the shape and proportions were designed to fit naturally with Porsche design language, almost like a luggage piece you’d expect to find in the trunk of a classic air-cooled 911.

The collaboration continues a long-running relationship between Porsche and Rimowa, which have worked together on premium travel products for years.
