In late 2022 and early 2023, Pranakriya program directors Emily Gretz and Pam Blum revamped a program for yoga teachers pertaining to hands-on assisting. It became "The Science and Art of Assisting Skillfully", a new 16-hour elective for the 300-hour certification program (16 YA CEU's). The duo offered this program for the first time at Victory Power Yoga (Clayton, NC) this past weekend. It was both well-attended and well-received.

Here's what a couple of the participants shared with us after completeing the program: 

" 'The Science and Art of Assisting Skillfully' workshop was amazing for my personal growth. As a new yoga teacher graduate, I now have an added layer of knowledge and confidence that will allow me to go deeper into yoga and what I can provide to the community."

" 'The Science and Art of Assisting Skillfully' beautifully blended a mechanically sound approach to assisting students in their yoga postures with deep yoga practice and philosophic ideas. I appreciate that the information was presented with integrity, staying true to the Pranakriya lineage, without being dogmatic or exclusionary."

It is scheduled to be held in September at Whole Body Yoga Studio (North Wales, PA), and is available to our studio partners to host. It is only being offered in-person. Thank you to Emily and Pam for their work on this program, and to Victory Power Yoga for such a warm welcome! We are so glad to be back in studios again!
