Patrick Peterson was an NFL cornerback and was tasked with defending some of the best wide receivers of all time. He primarily played for the Arizona Cardinals and was a lock down defensive back, deflecting many passes and even intercepting a bunch throughout his football career.

Calvin Johnson was nicknamed Megatron due to his tall and strong build and playmaking ability. He is regarded as one of the best WR to ever play the game of football. Especially with NFL legend and Super Bowl champion Matthew Stafford throwing him the ball at quarterback, he was a lethal pass catcher. Unfortunately, he wasted his career with the Detroit Lions when they were consistently one of the worst teams in the league, but that honestly probably helped Calvin Johnson’s stats look better anyways.

This picture really stood out to me. It’s fascinating. In Patrick Peterson’s visor connected to his helmet, right below the Riddell logo, you see Megatron lined up on the line of scrimmage, ready to run his route once the ball is snapped. Using context clues, we can infer that the reflection is what Patrick Peterson is seeing and correlates to what his eyeballs are viewing. This is a huge play, as the Lions are in the red zone, only a few yards out of the Cardinals end zone. I wonder what happened on this play. Whoever the sports photographer that took this photo is, should be very proud of themselves, as this picture is not just a photo, but it is artwork for sports lovers and NFL fans. This is definitely one of the coolest pictures taken of all time.
