Everyone has that friend who is a New York Knicks fan. One thing about New York sports fans, which I am allowed to say as a New Jersey native who is a fan of the Brooklyn Nets, New Jersey Devils, New York Yankees, and New York Giants, is that they are rather obnoxious. For the last few seasons, the Knicks have had a really good team, making the NBA Playoffs and performing well in them. However, I notice that the passionate fans always seem to get just a little bit ahead of themselves. 

For the past few years, Knicks fans have been feuding with the Atlanta Hawks, especially before Trae Young went to the Washington Wizards. Last year, the beef was with Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers. I always see these street interviews of Knicks fans that are over-the-top.

Maybe it’s because they keep getting close and falling just short, or maybe this year is different, as Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges, Karl Anthony-Towns, OG Anunoby, Jose Alvarado, Josh Hart, and the rest of the team look great and are playing amazing basketball, but every year I feel like I hear New York Knicks fans saying that it’s their year, and they fully truly believe it until they get their hearts broken.

Maybe it is their year to go to the NBA Finals and win the championship, or maybe these bball fans are falling for the trap once again. Either way, I thought this reel would be funny to share and maybe troll some Knicks fans. I’m sure I’ll be hearing from them in the comment section.
