An Israeli airstrike hit a vehicle on Al-Wahda Street in Gaza City on Friday evening, engulfing the car in flames and leaving several dead or injured. ⁣

"We managed to pull out about three or four people, but they didn’t survive, the car was completely engulfed in flames”, an eyewitness said.⁣

According to Palestinian media, at least seven people were killed and dozens more injured in an Israeli strike on "an apartment and a civilian vehicle in Gaza".⁣

In a joint statement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Israel Katz confirmed the IDF launched strikes on Gaza in an operation targeting Hamas military wing commander Izz al-Din Al-Haddad.⁣
