The Pairi Daiza animal park in Brugelette, Belgium, announced the birth of a second rare Golden snub-nosed monkey on Tuesday (May 12).⁣
⁣
This comes just weeks after another birth at the zoo, the first ever birth of a Golden snub-nosed monkey in Belgium.⁣
⁣
Golden snub-nosed monkeys are native to Central and Southwest China and are listed as a national first-class protected species. The new monkey cubs family were sent to Belgium by China in 2025, as part of a joint 10-year conservation project.⁣
