A Palestinian teen in Gaza is defying life-changing injuries by keeping up his hobby of rollerblading. ⁣

Thirteen-year-old Akram Sharif Fayum was severely injured in August 2024 after an Israeli airstrike, causing him to undergo a double-amputation of his left arm and right leg. ⁣

Despite his limb loss, Fayum is managing to continue practising his favourite hobby, with the help of prosthetics. ⁣
