The #SothebysGeneva Important Watches auction saw its strongest regional sales in more than a decade, realizing a total of 15 million CHF / $19.3 million USD. Three world records were set, including an A. Lange & Söhne Grande Complication pink gold clock watch from 1916, a Rolex Paul Newman yellow gold reference 6239, and a 1973 Cartier Tortue Mystère mystery wristwatch. The Shapes of Cartier collection also soared, with 100% of lots sold and the sale achieving more than 3X its low estimate.
