Before she became an Olympian, broadcaster and bestselling author, Kara Goucher (Psych’01) was a Buff training on the trails of Boulder.

From winning NCAA titles at CU to representing Team USA on the world stage, Kara built one of the most accomplished careers in American distance running. But her impact reaches far beyond race results.

As an advocate for athletes, a voice in sports broadcasting and the author of The Longest Race, Kara has used her platform to lead with honesty, resilience and integrity.

The Coloradan Magazine sat down with Kara to talk about her life and career. Tap the link in our bio to read the full story of this inspiring #ForeverBuff!
