Here’s how we suggest spending Day 6:

🧗‍♀️ Morning: Canyoning in Madeira

Canyoning is one of the most fun and adventurous things we’ve done on the island!

Go with a guide (we went with epicmadeira) and enjoy the *fresh* (not cold) mountain water as you jump, slide, and abseil down waterfalls!

It’s beginner-friendly, safe, and such a fun way to spend the morning!

🛻Alternative option: If canyoning isn’t your vibe, we suggest going on a Jeep tour around the island! We did an East Coast tour with true_spiritmadeira, and it was so much fun!

🥗 Noon: Lunch in Funchal

After your canyoning adventure, treat yourself to a well-deserved lunch & coffee at Three House (three.house.club).

They have an awesome rooftop where you can sit and enjoy the view of Funchal and the ocean while you have some of the best coffee and food in Funchal. 

Their menu offers modern fusion-style food, and they switch up the menu all the time. We also love their homemade Kombuchas!

🎣 Optional afternoon: Câmara de Lobos

If you’re not too tired, swing by Câmara de Lobos – this colourful fishing village just 15 minutes west of Funchal is where Winston Churchill famously painted.

It’s a great place to stroll the harbour, grab a drink, and soak up the local vibes.

🌄 Sunset: Pico do Arieiro

End your day at one of the most magical sunset spots on the island, at 1818m: Pico do Arieiro.

Before you go:

- Check the webcams to make sure the weather conditions are good 🌤️
- Bring your camera 📸 (we use sonyalpha)
- Bring an extra layer 🧥
