​Day 3 at missgrandinternationalallstars takes our queens into the kitchen for today’s cooking class activity, but somewhere between the elevators and the lobby, gazinii gave us a moment far bigger than the cameras.
​
​I asked Gazini about the meaning behind her name. She confirmed that in Palestine, “Gazini” carries the meaning of “Gaza.” Suddenly, everything about this journey felt aligned. Her name. Her story. Her reason for standing on this stage.
​
​Gazini previously shared that joining MGI All Stars was never just about competition. She signed up because she wanted to use this massive international platform to become a voice for Gaza and for peace in the Middle East.
​
​I also told her about a pageant blogger from Lebanon, the lovely person behind miss.lebanon.pageants.lb , who has been supporting her since Miss Universe 2019 and is now rooting for her to win this crown. Gazini didn’t hesitate to send a heartfelt message of hope, not only for the fan, but for everyone across the Middle East.

​In a competition filled with gowns, glam, and spectacle, Gazini reminded us that pageantry can also carry compassion. That a queen can wear the PHILIPPINES sash while carrying the prayers of people longing for peace, safety, and healing.
