At semeliestate 🇬🇷, winemaking begins in the vineyard, at 600 meters altitude, in the hills of Nemea. The region’s microclimate allows for lower yields, balanced natural acidity, and structured fruit, forming the foundation of wines with depth and precision.

Under the direction of ✨ yiannisflerianos  ✨, the winemaking approach balances science with intuition, combining technical precision with a deep understanding of the vineyard.

The philosophy is rooted in a strong Greek identity. Agiorgitiko, the iconic red of Nemea 🍇, and Moschofilero, offering a fresh and aromatic white expression 🌸, sit at the core of the portfolio, plus other Greek varieties such as Malagousia and Roditis, adding further depth and expression to the white wines.

Alongside them, selected international varieties, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc, contribute structure, complexity, and stylistic range.

The portfolio also explores more contemporary expressions, including low-alcohol wines, reflecting a modern and evolving approach to winemaking.

Designed to follow gravity, the winery minimizes intervention, allowing the wine to evolve naturally from fermentation to aging, where time plays a defining role, shaping balance, depth, and character across each wine.
