What originally began in 1991 at Universal Studios Florida as a small three-night event known as Fright Nights eventually evolved into a global horror phenomenon spanning Hollywood, Orlando, Japan, and Singapore. Over the decades, Halloween Horror Nights has continued to push the boundaries of themed entertainment with movie-quality production design, cinematic storytelling, elaborate special effects, live actors, and unforgettable scares around every corner.

By 2025, the event had become more than just a Halloween attraction. It transformed entire theme parks into living horror experiences where guests could step directly into worlds inspired by iconic films, television series, original creations, anime, and gaming franchises. Every soundstage, backlot street, and scare zone became part of the experience, creating an atmosphere unlike anything else in the industry.

The 2025 lineup featured an incredible collection of haunted houses and attractions, including Fallout, Five Nights at Freddy’s, Jason Un1v3rse, Terrifier, Poltergeist, WWE Presents: The Horrors of The Wyatt Sicks, Monstruos 3: The Ghosts of Latin America, and Scarecrow: Music by Slash. Guests also experienced Terror Tram: Enter the Blumhouse, along with fan favorite scare zones and entertainment, including Carnival of Carnage, Chainsaw Clownz, Murder of Crowz, The Purge: Dangerous Waters, Noche de Brujas, and Chainsaw Man: The Chaos.

Throughout the season, fans from around the world traveled to Universal Studios Hollywood to experience the event’s detailed environments, intense scares, themed food offerings, exclusive merchandise, and unforgettable atmosphere. Longtime attendees praised the return of classic horror energy, while new guests discovered why Halloween Horror Nights has remained one of the most successful and influential Halloween events ever.
