ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਾਣਬੁੱਝ ਕੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਹਾਲ ਵਿਚ ਭੇਜਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਸਿਰ ਢੱਕੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੈਰਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜੁੱਤੀਆਂ ਸਨ।
