We've set our rain boots out on the porch hoping the clouds would get the picture. 🌧️

Most Texas gardeners have wilted right along with their gardens as the lack of rain has caused many to prioritize which plants get water, and which ones wait. While September traditionally brings the break of a drought spell cast by a hot summer, Texas Septembers tend to still touch 100-degree weather as we transition from summer to fall. 🍂

AggieHorticulture’s Larry Stein, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service horticultural specialist and professor in tamuhort, offered tips to survive the continued heat and dry spell in this month's #TexasGardenGuide. 🌱
