“Got him to take a bottle this morning finally," said farm manager, Ryan Collett, of the hypothermic calf rescued from the Stiles Farm Foundation pasture Sunday evening.

The 2,716-acre working farm in Thrall, Texas is managed by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service as a living demonstration of research-based, profitable and environmentally sustainable agricultural practices for the Texas Blackland Prairies. The farm must be profitable to survive. For this reason, it shares many challenges other dryland farms in the region currently face.

Ag community members across the state are stepping up where it counts during this #WinterStorm. Please continue to share your stories using the #AgriLifeStrong hashtag.
