Lucky? I never missed a workout my entire pregnancy👏🏽we're just getting started on this so called "bounce back" & I'm feeling amazing!!! I genuinely felt so great my entire pregnancy and I credit that to the fact that I kept training like normal (and fueling my body like normal)! I don't think I'd be anywhere near my current physique if I weren't so consistent while pregnant. I didn't reinvent the wheel or change anything about my daily routine when I got a positive pregnancy test, I just kept doing what I always do! If you've been following me for a while then you know I'm all about listening to my body and doing what makes me FEEL my best; the way my physique looks is just a byproduct of that! I truly couldn't care less about the number on the scale, how many calories/macros I'm eating, etc. I care about how my body feels and functions! When you structure your daily routine around what makes you feel your best, it's really hard to even want to stray from it...because why would you purposefully not do what you know will make you feel amazing?! Maybe that's just my thought process and maybe I feel that way because I spent years doing so much just to feel awful.🤷🏽‍♀️ *For context if you're new here, years ago I used to track macros/calories & workout crazy intense 6 days a week lifting, lots of HIlT, running & walking but | felt terrible. I was puffy, lethargic, weighed down, and made zero progress. I was eating an insane amount of protein because I thought I had to in order to reach my goals, but it basically required me to force feed myself past full to hit my protein target each day...no wonder I felt awful lol. One day I decided to change everything because what I was doing clearly wasn't working. I switched to intuitive eating focusing on whole foods and I stopped all the crazy hit and running to just focus on lifting and walking (and resting)! | genuinely felt better almost instantly and suddenly it was so easy to make progress even though I was doing less. I leaned out pretty quickly, lost over 20 pounds of body fat and easily maintained that lean physique for years…then I had our first child🥰so now it’s time to work back to that physique, but stronger!!! #postpartum #postpartumfitnessjourney #fyp #personaltrainer #weightloss
