My personal story…

I didn’t always feel this way. When I moved to Thailand and became a pop star, I struggled with female friendships. I was bullied—badly. A group of girls followed me around at school, yelled insults, even vandalized my front door. This left me with trust issues and the belief that female friendships weren’t safe.

That shaped how I showed up in friendships—losing them, not always being a great friend myself, and at one point, realizing I had no close girlfriends at all. It was lonely. And if I wanted things to change, I had to do the work.

Yoga, surprisingly, was a huge part of that. It helped me see who I was, trust, and hold space—for others and for myself. And through it, I met so many of the incredible women you see in these photos. They taught me how to rebuild trust, connection, and deep friendships.

That doesn’t mean I have it all figured out. Friendships, like romantic relationships, have seasons. Some last, some fade, some break. But that doesn’t make them any less meaningful.

So today, whether your friendships are thriving or a little rocky, take a moment to celebrate them. Because relationships—of any kind—are a mirror. The way we show up for others is how we show up for ourselves.
