“At Bryant, I wasn’t in a silo,” Joseph “Joe” Capezza, Jr. ’08, remembers of his undergraduate years at @bryantuniversity. He credits skills such as public speaking, professional writing, and active listening – all critical to building client relationships and gaining the confidence to start his own business – to the time he spent outside his finance courses.

Now, with more than 15 years of experience in private wealth management, Joe oversees nearly a billion dollars in client assets, delivering personalized investment and planning solutions to individuals, families, and foundations. He brought on his first partner in 2024 and added another advisor earlier this year.

Looking ahead, he is focused on continuing to grow the business while embracing the flexibility that comes with building and leading his own firm, like deepening his commitment to community service and philanthropic efforts.
