SUMMER DAILY: CLEAN LINES, NO THEATRE

Summer dressing has become noticeably sharper once stripped of unnecessary detail. A lightweight Oxford shirt worn against relaxed trousers now feels more relevant than engineered sportswear or oversized street silhouettes.

The shift is largely about proportion. Shirts fall softer through the shoulder, trousers sit straighter through the leg, and fabrics are chosen for movement rather than structure. Nothing looks stiff or overly styled.

There is also less obsession with statement pieces. White, pale blue and muted grey dominate because they work in heat, in transit and under artificial light without demanding attention. The clothes do their job quietly.
