The okczoo is using specialized transmitters to track the journey of 20 Oklahoma-born monarchs!

The transmitters weigh just 10% of the butterfly’s weight and were attached carefully to the monarchs’ backs. 

One butterfly, "Verbena," flew more than 200 miles north to Emporia, Kansas in six days and sent a signal every time her tag connected with Bluetooth.
