(4K) | The first segment is from our hike on the Johnny Horn Trail. The trail follows ridgelines to Emmaus Moravian Church, which was built by St. John's first European and African settlers in 1726. The trail continues to the Murphy Great House, high above the beautiful Watermelon Cay. We sailed a total of 134 miles on Rising Dawn, a 47’ catamaran that my sister and brother-in-law had chartered for the seven-day stay. Our initial departure started in St. Thomas and we sailed to St. John and then on to St. Croix before heading back to St. John and completing our journey in St. Thomas. We visited some amazing places, including Salt Pond Bay, Caneel Bay, Cruz Bay, Leinster Bay, Christmas Cove, Buck Island and Maho Bay. Best. Vacation. Ever.
