We got incredibly lucky with a waterfront campsite at and honestly, that was the best part of the whole experience. Waking up to the sound of waves crashing onto the shore, sipping coffee by the water, and watching the sunrise right from our campsite felt unreal💕

And yes, the driftwood provincial park actually has a designated sandy beach area for swimming 🏖️The calm shoreline along the Ottawa River makes it such a relaxing spot to swim, chill by the water, or simply enjoy the beach views during summer.

Fun fact: the park gets its name from the large pieces of driftwood that naturally wash up along the shoreline from the
