“Married to Medicine” star #DrHeavenlyKimes is receiving support from fellow Bravo stars after conceding in Georgia’s Democratic primary for the 13th Congressional District. Dr. Heavenly was running to replace Rep. David Scott 80-year-old member of Congress who passed last month. Castmates from both “Married to Medicine” and “The Real Housewives of Potomac” flooded her comments with encouragement after she shared a heartfelt message thanking supporters and acknowledging the loss.

According to reports, Heavenly finished second behind Georgia State Rep. Jasmine Clark in the May 19 primary race. In a lengthy Instagram post, Dr. Heavenly thanked her husband, Dr. Damon, and her supporters. She wrote, “We came in second place. We beat elected officials. We built a real movement. And most importantly, we showed that everyday people still have a voice. This is not the end. We’re going to keep fighting for affordability, healthcare, education, and voting rights.
