Figure AI recently hosted a live 10-hour challenge where a human intern and a humanoid robot went head-to-head, sorting labeled parcels from a moving conveyor belt.

Early on, the human participant took the lead, building a noticeable advantage within the first hour and a half. As the marathon continued, the performance stayed competitive, with the human maintaining a slight edge by the end of the session.
